The Naked Truth
Naked Generations was born in London in 2008 by Christopher Lomas. The premise was: there’s a lot of talk about ‘Generation Y’, but all of it seems to be coming from the Baby Boomers and Generation X about Generation Y, put simply: none of it is coming from an authentic Generation Y position – therefore, would it be good to have this? And, in the midst of all the talk, is anyone going to provide a simple series of models and frameworks that can really explain what is going on? So, that’s exactly what we did. After a significant number of months of research Naked Generations went to market with it's first set of Educational Frameworks that attracted 3 multinational clients in the first two months.
Since then we have helped multinational corporations with our educational product and consultancy across Europe. We have been asked to speak at conferences in London, Boston, Brussels and Abu Dhabi, and launched a series of products to assist companies and organisations in understanding, engaging and leveraging Generation Y. We're growing our team and are building solid partnerships in research and distribution. Our goal is to be established and recognised as the world leader our market.
A little bit about our brand:
Why Naked? We got a few raised eyebrows when we launched the ‘Naked’ brand. Now we recognise it is a product of our times. The simple promise behind this word is: We will tell you the whole truth. Our accompanying strap line of ‘generations mapping’ tells you that 'Generations' is what we are experts in; and, 'Mapping' is how we do things differently - we use coloured pens and in depth research to back up all our models and consulting work - there's part of our team dedicated to it full time!
